Xanadu Island Resort - San Pedro (Ambergris Caye)

Those tight circular stairways leading to some suites could use a redesign!!! The lack of on-site dining limits options for meals, especially when you want to relax by the pool but don't feel like cooking.

Marvellous location - just a walk down to everywhere we needed. There were top-notch and exceptionally clean rooms with kitchens and balconies😀

It is an incredibly beautiful and lovely property located in San Pedro town district right by local restaurants, the center of town and the island. Exceptional service and the food is outstanding. It's nice to have concierge service and wake up calls for free too. Thank you for a really lovely stay.

Family Fun with a Touch of Adventure!

The staff helped us organize a nice snorkeling trip where we grilled our catch for lunch-it was delicious! The pool was perfect for the kids. Remember to stock up on groceries before arriving, as options nearby are limited.

We had a blast exploring the local reefs with two awesome days of diving, seeing everything from colorful fish to amazing corals. The staff was super helpful in organizing this and our trip to the rainforest at Mariposa Jungle Lodge. The hotel was fine, and the pool area was a perfect spot to relax after our adventures.

The three-bedroom apartment we booked felt a bit cramped for the six of us, especially since two of the bedrooms were quite small. This.

The fine grounds were immaculate and safe for our kids, and the pool was perfect for family fun. Our two-bedroom suite with a kitchen made family meals easy. We were within walking distance of the grocery store and several restaurants.

The only downside was that dining options were somewhat limited nearby.

Family with children relaxation

The staff was so friendly, specially the bartender. Winston made us fantastic pina coladas while keeping our glasses full, and the nature walk nearby was amazing.

It wasn't exactly a steal, but totally worth it.

The stay featured really good staff who were kind and always ready to help. The pool area was surrounded by lush landscaping. The mattress in the room was a tad soft, leaning towards the middle, and the WiFi connection was occasionally slow. While there were no dining options on-site, the fully equipped kitchen allowed for convenient meal-prepping.

Xanadu island resort was a fantastic choice! The pool and hot tub were great for relaxation. The staff members were helpful, assisting us with all our plans. It's conveniently close to everything was good.

Friendly staff arranged airport transfers and provided a full kitchen for snacks. WiFi was occasionally slow.

The staff demonstrated really good hospitality, always ready to assist with local dining suggestions and golf cart rentals which greatly enhanced our mobility around town. The pool area offered a serene atmosphere. The tight spiral staircases connecting the bedrooms were somewhat challenging, and the lack of on-site dining options limited spontaneous meal choices. We also experienced occasional WiFi slowdowns, which could be improved for better connectivity.

The pool area was just heavenly! It was like a true oasis, surrounded by lush landscaping 🌴. Just be prepared for those tight spiral staircases when you head to your room.

The room at the hotel was top-notch. the property had a great position right on the sand. We were just a short walk away from Belize during Jan/Feb. the nearby grocery store was convenient for breakfast items, and the second "not so secret beach bar" was a nice find. the poolside bar added to the enjoyable experience.

The location was great, close to restaurants, daily activities, beaches, and the downtown area; we even had a room with a hot tub!
